PM Dahal Holds Consultations with Top Leaders to Resolve Parliamentary Deadlock

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has initiated discussions with key leaders of nationally recognized political parties to address the ongoing parliamentary deadlock.

The deliberations are taking place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. Present at the discussions are top leaders from the CPN (Maoist Centre), Nepali Congress, and the main opposition CPN (UML), along with their respective Chief Whips. Notable figures include Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and UML Vice-Chair Subash Chandra Nembang.

In addition, the CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey, Nepali Congress' Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, UML's Chief Whip Padam Giri, and Rastriya Swatantra Party's Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar are also participating in the discussions.

The primary focus of these talks is to navigate a solution to the current impasse. The discussions are currently ongoing and are expected to shape the course of action to break the deadlock in the parliament.
